This month (Oct. 2017) teacher of the month goes to Shawn Grubb of Central Park Elementary.  Shawn teaches Kindergarten and has been teaching for over 21 years now.  She was nominated by a fellow staff member at the school because of the positive influence she has had on the students, including this staff members daughter.  A complete interview with Shawn is below.  ENJOY and congrats Shawn!

This month’s Teacher of the Month is Myka Jugum.  Myka teaches 6th grade at Robert Gray Elementary school.  She loves teaching kids and seeing “The light go on” in their heads.  Take a listen to my interview with her below.

Our Teacher of the month is Hoquiam High School Spanish teacher Fidel Sanchez.  Fidel has been teaching for many years and loves to challenge the students.  His favorite thing to see students in the real world applying the skills they learned in his class.  Take a listen to the interview with Fidel below.

February 2017 Winner of Teacher of the Month is Melissa Floch, 6th grade teacher at A.J. West in Aberdeen.  Melissa is on her 3rd year teaching and is really loved by her kids.  She has a great outlook on life and likes spending time getting to know the kids in her care.  Congrats Melissa!  Below find the entire interview with her.

January 2017 Winner of Teacher of the Month is Janette Mitchell, 2nd grade teacher from Cosmopolis. Elementary School.


Janette has been teaching for 25 years!  She loves the kids and they are a joy for her.  I got to sit down and talk with her recently and this is what she had to say:
